Mission:
The Foxworth Foundation's mission is to provide medical and financial assistance and support to persons who are experiencing or have survived breast cancer, brain aneurysms and strokes.
History and Description of Foundation:
The Foxworth Foundation is dedicated to the memory of Ruth Rebecca Foxworth (the unofficial historian of our family who migrated from South Carolina to Baltimore, Maryland in 1956) who laid a positive foundation for her descendants.
Hazel Foxworth presented her vision to family members to rediscover the value of family and make a commitment to strengthen our communities.
As a result, The Foxworth Foundation was incorporated in the State of Maryland by Hazel Foxworth (descendant of Ruth Rebecca Foxworth) and Hazel Foxworth's children: Andrea Foxworth and Rodney D. Foxworth, Sr.
The Foxworth Foundation's goal is to become a nationally recognized foundation and to expand our mission across the country by establishing chapters in all states which Foxworth descendants reside: in the District of Columbia, Florida,. Georgia, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, California, North and South Carolina.
